Service description

DiffBeats is a service that generates music and visual diagrams from GitHub pull requests. By installing the DiffBeats GitHub App or using the website, you agree to these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or rate limiting
• Reverse engineer the service or its APIs
• Resell or redistribute generated content commercially without attribution

AI-generated content

Songs, lyrics, and diagrams are generated by artificial intelligence models. They are not created by humans. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or nonsensical. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before sharing it. DiffBeats reserves the right to remove any generated content.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of the pull request content you submit. Songs and diagrams generated by DiffBeats are provided to you under a non-exclusive license. AI-generated works may not be eligible for copyright protection in all jurisdictions. DiffBeats retains a license to host, serve, and display the generated content as part of the service.

Generation visibility

Generations from private repositories default to unlisted visibility. You can change visibility (public, unlisted, or private) from the dashboard at any time. DiffBeats is not responsible for content shared via public or unlisted links.

Usage limits

Each song or image counts as one generation. Free accounts are limited to 3 generations per month. Paid plans have higher limits as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to adjust limits at any time.

Content deletion

You can delete individual generations from the dashboard at any time. Deleted generations are moved to trash and can be restored within 30 days. After 30 days, they are permanently and irreversibly removed, including any associated audio or image files.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can manage your subscription from dashboard settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. All sales are final — no refunds.

Service availability

DiffBeats is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or the quality of generated content. We may suspend or terminate the service at any time.

Termination

You may stop using DiffBeats at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App. You can delete your account and all associated data from dashboard settings — this is permanent, bypasses the 30-day trash window, and also cancels any active subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
